Audi RS4

on

It has been said many times that the Audi’s are very well made cars, very comfortable and extremely stylish, but if you were looking for driver dynamics perhaps you would start heading towards the Audi garage and at the very last minute you would veer off towards the BMW garage and buy one of those instead. However now a days the Audi are making a come back with many of good cars coming out of the Audi stable. Particularly with the Audi RS4. This car oozes presence just when you look at it. With its wider aches and bigger 19nch alloy wheels and even the lovely looking sporty seats you see as you peer through the window make you realize that the Audi means business before it even gets moving. Of course Audi have had cars in the past that looked the part with their quattro that used to dominate the rally scene back in the eighties and nineties. But this RS4 just looks just right. It is not quite so over the top as the older models and it seems to still fit in if you were out on a Sunday drive with the kids in the back or even if you were going to the office on a business meeting you wouldn’t come across as too much of a wide boy either.Getting into the Audi drivers seat, the car shows you it means business. The seats grip well and the whole interior is made very well and with the flat bottom steering wheel tells you that this is a car focused on the driver and ready for action before you even turn the key,and when you do turn the key, wow with that big V8 4.2 litre 4 cam engine bursting into life and giving a more of a growl rather than a stutter the offbeat burble lets you know this car is something special. With a six speed gearbox and the ratios perfectly matched to get you through the rev range and up to speed quickly. With its all round 4wheel traction coming from its quattro system makes this a very exciting car to drive. According to Audi this car will get you from 0-60 in about 4.8 seconds and get you onto an outlandish speed of about 155 miles per hour. With plenty of power coming from 250bhp per ton means the power to weight ratio makes this car perform as it does. From the outside people can see the car coming, with its new deep grille that Audi are putting their new model cars and the aero dam and splitter tell people “get out of my way I’m coming.
