Honda Brio hatchback which was launched in India in the year 2011 in the month of September has been able to create a lot of curiosity among the Indian customers. It brought a sigh of relief for Honda Motors in India since the monthly sales were dipping slowly. The absence of a small car which was priced low was making things difficult for the Japanese car maker in the Indian car market. With the launch of Honda Brio in India Honda has definitely been able to make a mark in the hatchback segment which is the most popular segment of the domestic market. Honda Brio price in India has been a huge reason for driving the sales of the small car in the Indian car market.Â
The absence of diesel engine is pinching the sales of Honda Brio hatchback now as demand for diesel cars in India is increasing day by day. The car maker is now developing Honda Brio Diesel for the domestic market which has been seen umpteen times undergoing test rounds across the nation. The diesel version of the hatchback will help in increasing the monthly sales of the hatchback further. Honda Brio is the cheapest vehicle available in the clan of Honda in India.Â
Honda cars are always known for their class apart looks, the quality of material used inside the vehicle, features and its styling, and Honda Brio is no different. The hatchback has a very different appeal that tempts the customers towards it. All glass rear makes the hatchback more attractive and makes it conspicuous among the cars of its segment.Â
The peculiar rear end of the small car has been getting the car all the attention and also made it win many accolades. The low lined tail lights add on to the overall look of the small car. Â The hatchback can seat five people comfortably inside the cabin. Close to 60 per cent sales accounting for diesel cars in India, it is high time now that Honda shifts gears to diesel powered vehicles. As of now the company does not have any diesel engined car in its portfolio which is affecting the companyâEUR(TM)s sales big time. Therefore the company is developing diesel engines for their sedan cars and for their hatchbacks too and luckily for the Indian customers Brio will get a diesel heart soon. Honda Jazz will also follow the suit but that would be later, as of now the company is concentrating on bringing the diesel version of their highly selling hatchback Honda Brio.Â
Speculations are also rife that the car maker is also contemplating on bringing the sedan version of the vehicle soon in the domestic market. The sedan version will be launched in the year 2013, probably the company is thinking to bring an entry level sedan car for the Indian customers. Right now we all are waiting for the Brio diesel to be launched soon in India, this will give customers more choice in the diesel hatchback segment.
