Everybody loves to be pampered. Everybody loves luxury. Everybody loves to feel special. Having nice things makes a person feel like he or she is living the life they deserve. This includes everything from clothing to homes. But one of the most admired possessions that a person can have is a quality automobile.
Names like Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Volvo and Saab all stand out as fine-crafted cars that cost a little (or a lot) more than the average brand. But then you can take it a notch higher with brands like Aston Martin and Maserati. But most consider the pinacle of the luxury vehicles to be Rolls Royce and Bentley.
Bentley has made many of the highest quality, most extravagant, and most expensive automobiles in the entire history of passenger cars. These autos have been remarkably prized by the affluent, and recently have even become famous icons as a result of being the favorite vehicle of many of the most celebrities. But though Bentley continues to be known for producing high-quality luxury autos, they are also known for convertibles that cater to a youthful, more trendy group. These Bentley convertibles have pressed Bentley sales to new levels in recent times.
One of the most popular of the convertible models which have been delivered by this car maker is the Bentley Continental Convertible. This auto first made an appearance in 1984, and was put out until 1995. It was equipped with a V8 engine that, over the years was enhanced and made to be larger and have more power. Additionally in the course of its run, the automobile would encounter slight alterations in its style and performance. These included enhancements in its bumpers and body paint, and modifications to its dashboard consoles, fixtures, and overall engineering through the addition of anti-lock brakes and rubberized bumpers.
The modern Continentals also had a convertible variation. Bentley’s Continental GT had a convertible called the Flying Spur, which was first made available in 2003. It came equipped with a 6-litre 12 cylinder massive motor which was able to deliver 552 bhp, pushing the vehicle 0-60 miles per hour in just less than five seconds. Some of its different versions, like the Continental GTC, and the GT Supersports versions, were also manufactured as convertibles, and every one of them shared the original Continental GT’s gigantic and powerful motors, sophisticated and glamorous interior design, and sporty yet chic bodies.
The Bentley GT convertible autos are, currently, among the most well-liked and most pricey convertibles on the market. They’re the prime choice of high-class cars for athletes, actors, and business people around the world. They are the top symbol of wealth, power and prestige.
