Among various car models, a long standing name in the Australian car market is that of Holden Commodore’s.
An extremely popular model in among car enthusiast here, Holden’s Commodore model is an automobile that has been manufactured since 1978. It was during the mid or late 1970s, that the company started hinted on talks about replacing their established model called Holden Kingswood with a sleeker, more compact model in the automotive market in Australia. The automobile is heavily inspired by Opel model. This model continued to be a heavy source of inspiration for all Commodore models until the fourth generation was launched in 2006.

VT Commodore
Commodore’s VT version is the tenth in the long line of its models in the same range. The automobile was launched in 1997 and has received accolades such as Wheels Car of the Year in the same year of its launch. The company also introduced its updated version much called VT II during 1999, right before it was replaced by the new launch of Commodore VX the very next year. VT Commodore instantly achieved wide acclaim and acceptance by the target audience. Based on powerful engine, it gave tough competition to established models like Ford AU Falcon. The Holden model went on to become the best-selling car in the Commodore range, with highest sales in the Australian Market.
VZ Commodore
Another full-size Commodore model to have instantly short to fame is the thirteenth model in Holden’s Commodore line up. The VZ was launched in 2004, with an engine specification of 3.6-litre, Alloytec V6 engine that has power churning capacity of 235 to 255 hp. Its more advanced version offered greater power, responsiveness and fuel efficiency in comparison to previous engine fixtures of ECOTEC V6.
VE Commodore
The VZ Commodore was succeeded by VE, which marked the beginning of the fourth generation in the range of Commodore models. Its VE model was the first to be designed, developed and manufactured individually by Holden LTD in Australia.
