A panel of judges, including experts from What Car?, Practical Caravan and the Caravan and Camping Club, has named the Hyundai Santa Fe as the ‘Best Value 4×4 of the Year’.
The prestigious award was given to the Hyundai 4×4 as it was considered to be the perfect vehicle of choice for ‘staycationers’ – people who choose to holiday in Britain rather than going abroad – owing to its practicality as a 4×4 combined with its exceptional value for money.
The Editor-in-Chief of What Car?, Steve Fowler, said the Hyundai Santa Fe “thoroughly” deserved the award. He commented: “You know the Santa Fe is a good towcar after just a few miles, but it’s easy to miss just how good until you consider the price”.
He went on to say the Santa Fe “is a car that will happily tow the majority of caravans, has room for seven and an enviable list of standard equipment. You can expect 41.5mpg driving solo, according to official figures. That’s excellent for a car which weighs the thick-end of two tonnes.”
Prices for the award-winning 4×4 start at 21,620, making the Santa Fe some 10,000 less than the Volvo XC60, and nearly 20,000 less than the Land Rover Discovery, two of its main rivals.
The new Hyundai Santa Fe is available now at Premier Autocentres in Blackfen, South East London. Premier Autocentres stock a wide range of new and used Hyundai vehicles at their Blackfen dealership, as well as a selection of used vehicles of all makes. The Hyundai Santa Fe range starts at 21,620 and is available with five or seven seats, and six speed manual or automatic gearboxes. The vehicle features 17-inch alloy wheels, six air bags and projection front car lights that include horizontal clusters of car bulbs.
