The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 With COR Wheels and 760 HP

on

One of the most prominent and exciting super cars to hit the market in 2012 was the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. The newest production car from the Italian automaker epitomizes everything that the brand represents and Italian super cars as a whole with its classic wedge shaped design, high output engine, forged wheels, and commanding styling that grabs attention. Its performance is otherworldly and its low production numbers ensure that it will always be unique. But, one Swiss aftermarket tuning company wanted so make the Lamborghini Aventador even more exclusive so they designed their own upgrade kit that sets it apart from the rest with a full carbon fiber body kit, lightweight COR Wheels, engine modifications, and a tuned chassis. The conversion takes the already rare super car and transforms it into an exclusive exotic owned by only a few.

Part of what makes the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 so special and commanding is its design with sharp angles and sleek lines. The Swiss tuning company wanted to make the car even more striking and aerodynamically efficient with a full carbon fiber body kit. The kit includes a new front fascia comprised of a large spoiler that generates downforce intake surrounds that help redirect air towards the braking system. A deep set of side skirts with special diffusers to reduce drag were installed and sit between the upgraded front and rear COR Wheels. A new carbon fiber roof scoop helps bring cool air into the engine bay. The rear features a large wing spoiler that can be adjusted for varying levels of downforce while a large diffuser with triple fin setup helps the rear stick to the pavement at high speeds.

The upgraded aerodynamics improve high speed stability and overall performance, but getting there is a whole lot easier thanks to new engine upgrades that spin all four of the COR Wheels. The naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V-12 engine was all new right from the factory and produces 690 bhp. The Swiss aftermarket tuning company installed a new full carbon fiber air intake system including manifold along with a new fuel delivery system with larger injectors. An ECU tune ensures that the engine can handle the upgrades and produce more power. A full titanium exhaust system reduces weight and optimizes exhaust gas backpressure while letting out a fierce roar. The engine creates a total of 760 horsepower with the upgrades and can accelerate to a top speed of 218 mph because of them.

The final part of the conversion is the chassis. Here, the Swiss tuner installed a new set of lightweight forged COR Wheels with five spoke design and matte black finish. The team installed the wheels in a 9.5 x 21 front and 12.5 x 21 rear setup for that powerful and wide look. The COR Wheels were then equipped with high performance Pirelli tires that improve grip properties even further.
